Ways to Help and Get Involved |
|
|
|
There are many ways in which you can get involved. We would be grateful if everyone took part in the meditation or paath so that the wider community can enjoy the benefits.
- This paath is organised collectively by the whole Khalsa Panth (i.e no one organisation or individual is in charge).
- If you are a part of any organisation or group you can easily help organise and start the programme at your local Gurdwara. Seek permission so that announcements can be made during diwans and posters can be put up on the notice boards.
- Ask your relatives and friends to join in. You may create informal prayer groups if organisational supporting is not available in your area.
- If you have young kids, narrate to them the story of the chotey Sahibzade and encourage them to join in by doing Mool Mantar.
- Help others sign up online at the Sikh Help Line website (www.sikhhelpline.com). Signing up will help us determine accurately the number of paaths being undertaken by the sangat so that a collective ardaas can be done at the end of the 40 days. The website will also provide all information and resources to begin the programme on the group/organisation level or on an individual level for further info email sukhasingh@sna.org.uk
- "A Prayer in Action” is an event that spans the world. The sangat in many countries is coming together to organise and run this event on the specified event dates and times. See Programme for more info..
We invite everyone across the world to participate in this event to commemorate and honour the chotey Sahibzade as well as to pray for the well-being of all children in need in these trying times
